You can ask Monk in your coding agent, send a report to the Monk team, use the community forum or email us.

Ask Monk directly

Start by asking in your coding agent:
  1. Open the coding agent where Monk is installed
  2. Describe your issue or ask your question
  3. Your agent reads status and logs from Monk and walks you through the fix
Example questions:
  • “Why is my deployment failing?”
  • “How do I add a Redis cache to my app?”
  • “Can you show me the logs for my API service?”
  • “How much is my infrastructure costing?”
Your agent can see your code and, through Monk, the state of your deployments, so it’s a good first place to ask.

Report a bug from your agent

You can report a problem without leaving your coding agent:
Describe what happened. Monk adds details about your environment and deployment state and sends the report to the Monk team. There’s no reply channel in the agent, so if you need an answer, email hi@monk.io as well. Your agent may also file a report on its own when a Monk command fails.

Report a bug from the web dashboard

In the Monk dashboard, click Report a bug or an idea in the top bar, pick Bug, Feature or Other, and describe the issue.
The more detail you provide, the faster we can diagnose and fix the issue. Include steps to reproduce if possible.

Request features

Use the same flow in your agent and describe what you’d like Monk to do, or post it on the community forum, where you can also vote on other requests and see what’s planned.
